They are always looking for the highest quality of essential oils that can be sourced sustainably and responsibly in their natural habitat. If they are not able to find these practices that meet their standard than they do not offer that specific oil.

More than half of the countries that doTERRA sources oils from could be considered developing countries. They are places where kids are not always able to go to school, women are not treated equally, and some don’t have access to clean water. Through doTERRA’s Healing Hands Foundation they have been able to change even more lives in these developing countries. Schools have been built, and parents now have the money to be able to send their kids to school. Health clinics and improving infrastructure have also been main focuses for the Foundation, but the one I think we take for granted the most is clean water. Some of these villages have to travel hours every single day just to get water, and sometimes it is not even clean water.
